Travelling from the East and South East

On reaching Derry Buncrana is a further 10 miles.  Travelling from Derry, take the R238 to Buncrana.  Situated on the shores of Lough Swilly the course is about one mile north of Fahan village and is signposted to the left off the main road from Derry.


Travelling from the West and South West

On reaching Letterkenny Buncrana is a further 25 miles.  Travelling from Derry take the road to Derry.  At Bridgend roundabout take the first exit (R238) to Buncrana.  Situated on the shores of Lough Swilly the course is about one mile north of Fahan village and is signposted to the left off the main road from Derry.

To the North West Derry is  – 30 minutes

                  Belfast is – 1 hour 45 minutes

                  Sligo is  - 1 hour 30 minutes

                  Dublin is - 3 hours 30 minutes

                  Belfast International Airport is - 1 hour 30 minutes

                  Larne ferry port   - 1 hour 30 minutes

                  Shannon    - 5 hours 
             
             



Travelling by Air

City of Derry airport is closest to Buncrana – 30 minutes.  Flights are available daily from Stanstead by Ryanair and from Glasgow by British Airways and LoganAir.  From Dublin there are flights twice every day by British Airways and LoganAir.  Flights are also available daily to Belfast International and George Best City Airports.
